Environment

espect and care for the environment is a reality, which is why we implement new methods in line with the highest sustainable standards, such as ozone cleaning and other resource-saving systems. Small, but very powerful steps, steps in the protection of the environment and the resources that surround us.

All these actions are accompanied by a measure implemented last season such as cleaning the rooms every two days, which helps the floor team to reduce the workload, resulting in better health.

The Humane Room

A new action that brings the hotel chain closer to the commitment of the balearic community is its solidarity room, ‘Humane Room’, whose net income per booking will be given to the association Grupo de Educadores de calle y Trabajo con Menores (GREC), to promote projects for children and young people, such as training and social and labor insertion programs for vulnerable groups.

Inclusion

In addition, in our constant commitment to people, at MarSenses Hotels & Homes we seek to generate real employment opportunities by fostering an enriching environment. Therefore, as a goal for this season, we intend to integrate 10% of the team with people at risk of social exclusion in the Balearic Islands.

Partnerships

In addition to our commitment to social agents, the objective of MarSenses Natura Olea Hotel is also reflected in our passion and commitment to partners who share the values of sustainability and innovation, which are key to moving towards more responsible tourism. For this reason, the alliance with Hemper, a Spanish ethical and sustainable fashion company, has made it possible for them to design an exclusive line of uniforms for the hotel, made with organic materials and handcrafted techniques. Each garment reflects the fusion between design, comfort and social conscience, in line with the establishment's identity.

Gastronomy

A firm faithfulness to gastronomy and the Mediterranean diet through quality products, with our own agricultural production of fruit and vegetables, guaranteeing our guests fresh and local products in buffets and menus. This initiative will not only improve the quality of our gastronomic offer, but will also reduce our carbon footprint, boost the local economy and ensure exhaustive control over cultivation, prioritizing natural and responsible methods.

Diversity

Thanks to our firm belief in real equality and non-discrimination in the workplace, we strengthened our commitment with diversity and inclusion by becoming the first hotel chain to join the National Association of Lesbians, Gays, Trans, Bisexuals, Intersexuals and more (FELGTBI+). As part of this alliance, we have implemented specific training for all our teams, guaranteeing a respectful and welcoming service for all our guests, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation.
